Renewable energy will not run out:

Resources that can be adapted in an EcoHome includes:

Solar energy

Geothermal energy (Not practical in a single home)

Wind energy (can only be used in a right Environment)

Energy from biomass

Solar Energy

Photovoltaic solar panels or PV will reduce your carbon footprint; Systems can be supplied to be retrofitted to existing buildings, or can be incorporated in the design stages of a new build or a renovation project.  Ideally the panels should be roof mounted with a 30%-40% angle with nothing shading the panels.  The panels in most cases provide up to 70% of your hot water.

Energy from biomass

Wood pallet boilers producing hot water and heating.

Geothermal Energy

Power extracted from heat stored in the earth

Wind power

Is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form of energy, such as using wind turbines to make electricity, wind mills for mechanical power.
